We’ve all heard the saying, “You never get a second chance to make a first impression.” There’s another Proverb that teaches, “First impressions are the most lasting.” I believe these statements wholeheartedly.
Imagine going to a restaurant for the first time and the hostess presents you with dirty utensils. When you bring the matter to her attention, she apologizes profusely and immediately replaces your silverware. However, you unroll your napkin to discover the replacements are also dirty.
At this point, no matter how excellent the food may be, you’ll likely never return. That first impression of dirty knives and forks is lasting and trumps any excellence that may follow. First impressions are a powerful force.
In today’s podcast, I want to speak to you about the first impressions you’re making in your own practice, and how you can be better at making a positive, lasting first impression on your Practice Members.
