The Power of First Impressions

The Power of First ImpressionsWe’ve all heard the saying, “You never get a second chance to make a first impression.” There’s another Proverb that teaches, “First impressions are the most lasting.” I believe these statements wholeheartedly.

Imagine going to a restaurant for the first time and the hostess presents you with dirty utensils. When you bring the matter to her attention, she apologizes profusely and immediately replaces your silverware. However, you unroll your napkin to discover the replacements are also dirty.

In today’s podcast, I want to speak to you about the first impressions you’re making in your own practice, and how you can be better at making a positive, lasting first impression on your Practice Members.

Simply put, our principles define who we are, and who we will become.

The Power of Follow-Through

The Power of Follow-Through - Flickr Rama VOften times, our best plans and strategies fail, not due to a lack of ambition, but a lack of follow-through. In soccer, the failure to properly follow-through with a kick results in a weak effort and an unpredictable trajectory. In business, a lack of follow-through can mean the difference between a thriving practice and a barely-surviving practice.

In this week’s podcast, Dr. Rob talks about The Power of Follow-Through. Learn how to set your goals the night before and prepare yourself for success by simply committing to complete the challenges set before you.
